Will the appearance of my face change after I have impacted wisdom teeth out?

No. This question has been well answered, but think of it this way. The oral surgeon is only removing the impacted teeth, not the jaw bone which forms the shape of the lower half of your face. Even if by some rare reason, your jaw bone were to fracture during surgery...that still would not alter your appearance, just your recovery time. No worries...Hope this helps!

Will the appearance of my face change after I have impacted wisdom teeth out?
Yes, this happened to me. I got my wisdom teeth removed two weeks ago. Everyone has noticed I look different. My face is more defined. My cheeks use to be a bit chubbier. Those teeth were pushing them out. I love my new look. If you don't believe me I have pictures. Report It

Reply:unless the oral surgeon breaks your jaw (it's very rare, but it can happen) no, there will be no change other than temporary swelling that should be completely gone within a week, less if you ice your face religiously starting right after the surgery
Reply:Omg yes you will be horribly disfigured. No you wont really be disfigured just some sick humor there. You should still look the same.
Reply:It will only look different until the swelling from the surgery goes away.
Reply:Your appearance won't change, but the relief with change the countenance of your face.
