Impacted Wisdom Teeth and difficulty when swallowing ?

For the last 4 years i have had difficulty when swallowing, not as bad as to stop me from breathing in my sleep, but bad enough to notice it everyday. It seems to get worse with the more water i drink. The pain feels slightly lessened when i eat , but comes back straight after . If i go 1 hour without eating anything , the back of my throat feels very swollen and its red . I also lost most of my taste and sense of smell . the pain is located in between my nose and throat, like where they meet up . it feels like a huge , hot , swollen ball just sitting there .

I've been to the drs ( the same one ) for the last 4 years about this and every time i see him he says " yes it does look red doesn't it , but it's most likely nothing"

there are times where i have to go out during the day and its impossible to eat every hour, and thats when the pain gets too much , like an intense burning pain , and then it makes breathing hard too. .

edit- adding more info .

I don't think impacted wisdom teeth would be the cause of your difficulty swallowing. Either you need to see another Dr. or see a ENT (ear nose %26amp; throat) specialist. From your symptoms, it seems as if you have chronic indigestion.
