I have 2 impacted wisdom teeth?

has anyone had 2 removed and what was the fee ? will need to be done by an oral surgeon..

I have 2 impacted wisdom teeth?
Ive had two wisdoms pulled... and while I'm sure I'm tough enough to handle the pain, i opted not to.

With anesthesia and everything it ran between 300-350. Without the anesthesia, its a lot cheaper.
Reply:I HAD 2 IMPACTED WISDOM TEETH AND IT WAS ABOUT $300 EACH TO GET THEM DOEN --I PAID TO BE PUT TO SLEEP SO THAT WAS PROBABLY MORE EXPENSIVE ---CALL AROUND AND SEE WHAT IT WILL COST.
Reply:I was charged around $215 for impacted wisdom teeth. That is for each tooth. It really depends on where you are as to what going rates are. It is considered a surgical extraction if they are impacted. YOur best bet is to call around and ask how much for a surgical extraction. It isn't going to be cheap, I can tell you that.

Mine is being done by a dentist, not oral surgeon. Some dentists will do it, some will not, again, you have to ask.

I personally feel more comfortable with a dentist who is able and willing to do any procedure, and who doesn't send people to oral surgeons.

At any rate, call around and see what you can come up with. If money is an issue, call around to dental teaching schools. They offer dental work at highly discounted rates. The reason is, the person working on your teeth is a student. They will be supervised, but they are not done with school yet. I wouldn't go that route, but some people aren't nervous about the dentist the way I am.

Best of luck to you!
Reply:I had 2 impacted and 2 fully in. Removed all of them. With insurance, it cost $145 each and anesthesia was about $200. All done in So. Ca.
