I was able to eat mashed potatoes from KFC about 2 hours after I came home from getting mine removed. You probably need to contact your dentist's office and just inquire as to how long the bleeding should last.
Reply:It is normal to bleed quite a lot after having teeth extracted. Don't be afraid

I had 2 damaged teeth taken out just over 2 weeks ago. I was still bleeding and spitting out blood for up to 2 days later.

It will take time to heal, at least a week.

Don't be afraid to take painkillers, I took them every four hours of the day for a full five days, as my gums hurt terribly.

You can eat tommorow, but only things like soup (so as not to aggrivate the swollen side) I know it's boring and it seems like a long time but you will be able to eat and chew more in a few days.

cheers, good luck
Reply:Yeah, it's normal. Don't worry about it. I hated that I couldn't spit it out! Ugh! It may take you a day or so to be able to eat again. Just make sure you are drinking because you don't want to get dehydrated. Good luck! And remember to take your medicine as the label on the bottle says.
