Was your wisdom teeth impacted? Were you awake or asleep?
I had 2 impacted wisdom teeth. I was awake, the recovery was around a week. I don't exactly recall as it was a few years ago. I do remember not enjoying the first day of recovery at all.
Reply:OK, this is 25 year old data, so take it for what it is worth.

1. Two teeth were impacted

2. I was put to sleep. They gave me a choice and I opted to be out.

3. I was out of it for several days, especially with the Percodan

4. I was given a choice and opted to have all 4 out (especially since they didn't want to put me out twice, just once).
Reply:i don't think mine were impacted. i had the anaesthetic where i was put to sleep.

i think it took about 1-2 weeks to fully recover, but about 1 week for the pain to go away.

and i only had my bottom 2 removed b/c my dentist said those were the ones that could cause bigger problems (apparently they were growing weird).
Reply:Always have your wisdom teeth removed by a specialist oral %26amp; Maxillofacial surgeon.
