How to cure a impacted wisdom tooth?

I am having trouble with a wisdom tooth and my gums. I used to get trouble with two of my wisdom teeth and in the end the dentist removed two of them. Now the other wisdom tooth is playing up i think its the same problem as the other ones, it becomes infected and food gets trapped under a flap of gum which is covering half of the wisdom tooth. I have have got swelled up gums on the rest of my teeth and i think i have receding gums aswell, the pain is really bad i have used salt water and got a good mouth wash and im on anti biotics but none of them seem to be working and now its 3 days since i started the aniti biotics and started the salt water. I cant take another day of it my gums seem to be wearing away so qucik i do have a dentist appointment tomorrow but i just need a quick fix. Im taking pain killers and anti biotics and now i feel so ill in my self, i feel so sick i cant drive without beeling sick and i cant eat without feeling sick.

How to cure a impacted wisdom tooth?
you will have to get it extracted by an oral surgeon. the procedure is simple and takes about 20 mins at the most. he will incise and pull the impacted wisdom out, put a few sutures in place then you are done..its done under local anesthesia

ps clove oil is an old home remedy that wont work..extraction is the only way..
Reply:to date, the only way to cure an impacted wisdom tooth is extraction. suggest you see an oral surgeon
Reply:other than painkillers, mouthwash and antibiotics there is nothing you can do untill you have it out (which is what needs to happen) p.s i feel for you! i suffered for years with the same thing untill i had them all out in the summer x
Reply:dentists don't know much then huh, that is why you asking me.

get a 2 oz hammer and small chisel, it will pop out

btw, where do you get anti biotic's from, I need some
Reply:Clove oil applied directly to the area of the gum will help ease the pain. You are probably feeling sick because of all the meds you are taking. Remember you should normally not take meds on an empty stomach as this can cause nausia. See your pharmacist for an anti-emetic to stop you feeling sick and something to calm your stomach.
Reply:go to a dentist
Reply:Call your dentist and ask if he can see you today as an emergency or at least tell you where you can be seen today. You ought not to be driving if you are so unwell, try to get someone to help you out. Failing all else, take a clove of raw garlic, slice it in half and place one half against the infected area..This is not old wives stuff, garlic contains a powerful antibiotic compound and is often effective. As for the smell of garlic offending your dentist..tough for him, you are the one in pain!
Reply:In short...

1) Removal to get rid of the problem permanently

2) Penicillin will clear up the gum infection caused by the tooth grating against it but there is always the risk of the problem returning.
